Dear Pauline:
I have found an ant's nest at the bottom of my garden. How do I get rid
of it?
Pauline answers:
This sounds suspiciously like a sexually transmitted disease. Medical help
is essential but do not despair, penicillin usually solves the problem.
Dear Pauline:
I was recently widowed and since my husband did all the odd jobs
around the house I have never had to change a lightbulb. The one in the
kitchen has now blown so could you please advise me on what to do?
Pauline answers:
Have you tried rubbing in a hair restorer such as Minoxidol? This
often gives good results although it is necessary to apply it every day.
Changing your diet may help, and you could consider transplant surgery.
Whatever you do it is vital that you consult a qualified trichologist
without delay!
Dear Pauline:
My husband has developed a yellow discharge from the end of his organ
of manhood but he refuses to see a doctor. What can I do?
Pauline answers:
Grasp the bulb firmly, press it upwards, turn it slightly anti-clockwise
and it should come off into your hand. Insert a new one, twist it
slightly anti-clockwise until you feel a click, and the problem is
solved.
Dear Pauline:
I am only 23 but already I am losing hair from the top of my head. It is
very distressing for me to think that I am going bald at such an early
age so I would be very grateful for your advice.
Pauline says:
Pouring boiling water on it sometimes works. If this is unsuccessful it
may be better to call your local public health authority who will burn
it and fumigate the whole area for you.
